Verse by Verse is an Inductive Bible Study for adults and friends to better understand and enjoy God's Word in community.
David Humphrey, our Pastoral Care/Missions Pastor leads us in a verse-by-verse study of God's Word. We began a multi-year long study of the New Testament book of Acts on August 20th, but you can jump in anytime.
Inductive Bible study is a method that emphasizes careful observation of a biblical text to discover its meaning and application to life. This method involves three key steps: (1) observation, (2) interpretation, and (3) application. By focusing on the details of the text and allowing the text to shape understanding, inductive study aims to hear God speak directly through Scripture.
